Gabriel’s story with BUSA is a powerful reminder of how soccer can change lives. He first joined us in Maryland through the BUSA Travel Experience, where he proudly wore the gloves as the goalkeeper for one of our teams in QAC. Even then, it was clear that Gabriel carried something special—courage, commitment, and a love for the game that inspired everyone around him.
Today, his journey takes another exciting step. Back home in São Paulo, Gabriel is no longer just defending goals—he is shaping them. As part of the coaching staff at BUSA Brasil, he now stands on the other side of the field, guiding young players with the same passion and energy he once brought as an athlete.
There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing this kind of transformation. To see one of our own grow not only as a player, but as a leader and mentor, reminds us why we do what we do. At BUSA, soccer is more than a game—it is a pathway to growth, to opportunity, and to lifelong impact.
