Coach Julio was born in São Paulo, where from his earliest days the ball was more than just a toy — it was part of who he was. A lifelong Corinthians fan, he grew up breathing football, fascinated by the game’s magic and its power to bring people together. His playing journey began at clubs like A.D. Guarulhos and Atlético Mogi, experiences that shaped not only his game but also his vision as a mentor and educator.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and a Postgraduate degree in School Physical Education, Julio has always believed that sports go far beyond competition. In Brazil, he worked as a teacher, futsal coach, and even as a university assistant professor, carrying with him the joy of teamwork, discipline, and the love of learning through play.
Last year, his path led him across borders to the United States, where he joined BUSA for the Summer Camps, coordinating programs in Illinois, Ohio, and Indiana. His energy, dedication, and passion quickly made an impact, paving the way for a new chapter in 2025: becoming part of BUSA Frederick.
Today, Julio does more than coach soccer. He inspires, motivates, and shares his life-long love for the game — showing every athlete that football is not just about results, but about lessons, growth, and values that last forever.
