This year’s BUC Coaching Academy was an unforgettable experience, held in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, bringing together passion, learning, and high-level soccer development.
During an intense and immersive week, our future Brazilian United Soccer coaches took part in on-field training sessions, practical workshops, and in-depth theoretical classes, all designed to prepare them for the challenges and opportunities ahead. The Academy focused on aligning every coach with the BUC methodology, ensuring consistency, quality, and excellence across all our programs.
More than 40 new coaches embraced this journey with dedication and enthusiasm. Throughout the week, they experienced our training philosophy firsthand, observed and participated in high-level technical sessions, and deepened their understanding of player development.
The sessions were led by our Methodological Coordinator, Ygor Costa, alongside our outstanding coaches Bernardo, Heldrin, and Lucas, who shared their knowledge, experience, and passion for the game. Together, they provided the tools, standards, and mindset necessary for these coaches to succeed.
This preparation is essential as these new coaches get ready to represent Brazilian United Soccer in the United States, whether during our Summer Camps or working with Travel Teams across different BUSA programs nationwide.
